Invited speakers (young statisticians)
- For invited speakers we booked the accommodation at the Maksimilian Hotel in Tvrdja, the old part of the city of Osijek.
Recommendation for other participants
- There is a list of hotels and other types of private accommodation on the website of the Tourist board of the city of Osijek with contact information provided (under HOTELS & PENSIONS).
Travel information
- If coming by car, the important information is that from 8:00 PM on Friday to 7:00 AM on Saturday, as well as from 3:00 PM on Saturday and the whole Sunday, the parking in Osijek is free of charge.
- Beside on the public car park, you can park your car at the parking lot of the School of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (free of charge). School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics is located at the address Trg Ljudevita Gaja 6, but in order for the navigation to bring you to the parking lot, you should set it to the address Alojzija Stepinca Street 23 or 25 (across those buildings is the clearly visible entrance to the School's parking lot).
- Beside by car, the easiest way for reaching Osijek from Austria, Slovenia, Italy and Hungary is by train or by bus. Here we provide some useful links that could be helpful for planning your trip to Osijek:
